Footnote: There is currently $1.61 trillion in outstanding student loan debt in the United States alone, as of two weeks ago today. Some estimates are $1.75 trillion. Out of almost 21 trillion USD in our total economy (GDP), that’s less than 8%. You can deduct that much of your total income from your taxes every year if you pay it for medical bills, and your medical treatments don’t help anyone but you. Someone’s education can help millions of people solve problems, and that’s an ongoing investment in several generations to come. Hobbling students with a lifetime of debt can erase any contribution they’ll ever make to our economy. Are you that afraid that someone else’s knowledge might help literally everyone to do better, learn more, grow more, discover more, invent more, and live well?

Cancel ALL student debt NOW. Every investor knows the priceless value of EQUITY.

Don’t you?
